How to Convert Your Margalla Orchard Plot to DHA – Step by Step
The official DHA procedure for FGEHA members/allottees
Visit the DHA main office
Avenue Mall, Phase-1, with all documents and the Rs. 200,000 pay order.
Verification & receipt
Checked against the list and FGEHA’s office copies; receipt gives your collection date.
Site photograph
First following Thursday, 11:00 am–3:00 pm, at your plot location.
DHA allotment letter
Issued only after your site photograph is taken and deposited.
Step 1 – Visit the DHA main office with your documents
Go to the DHA main office, Avenue Mall, Phase-1 and submit the following:
- Original FGEHA allotment letter – submitted/surrendered to DHA.
- DHA membership form duly filled in, with the attachments mentioned on the form (download it below).
- Original CNIC.
- Pay order for Rs. 200,000/- drawn in favour of “Defence Housing Authority Islamabad Margalla Orchards NTN 2291993-7” on account of service charges.
Step 2 – Verification and receipt
DHA verifies your details against the list and the office copies of allotment letters provided by FGEHA. After successful verification you are given a receipt indicating the date for collecting your DHA allotment letter.
Step 3 – Visit the project site for your photograph
You are guided to visit the Margalla Orchards project site on the first following Thursday between 11:00 am and 3:00 pm to have a photograph taken at your respective plot location. Bring your original CNIC, a photocopy of your FGEHA allotment letter and the receipt provided by the Transfer & Record Directorate, DHA Islamabad.
Step 4 – Collect your DHA allotment letter
The DHA allotment letter will not be issued unless your site photograph has been taken and deposited. Once the photograph is deposited, collect your DHA allotment letter as per the date on your receipt.

Important instructions printed on the form
- The membership form must be filled in English.
- Fill it with blue / black ink only.
- All input fields must be filled in carefully and correctly – if left blank / unfilled, the case will not be processed.
- Avoid misrepresentation of facts – it may lead to cancellation of membership at any stage.
- In case of joint owners, a separate membership form is required for each.
- The form must be signed by the individual as per CNIC, and the thumb impression must be legible.
- All documents to be attached must be valid / readable.
- No overwriting / cutting is acceptable.
- Any later change in personal information or family details must be reported in writing to the Transfer and Record Directorate, DHA Islamabad-Rawalpindi.
